About HSLM

Welcome to the new blog for HSLM (Health Science Libraries of Minnesota)!

What is HSLM?

Begun in 1992, HSLM represents individuals and groups concerned with health care information access and services in Minnesota.

Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and concerns, HSLM encourages connections between all users and providers of health care information.

With input from its diverse membership, HSLM strives to confront and shape the future of health information in Minnesota.

What does HSLM do?

Through its services to members, HSLM supports continuing education, professional development, and networking.

Services and programs include:

* A quarterly electronic newsletter, The Health Informer
* Share information through the HSLM listserv
* Membership Directory
* Job Announcements
* Annual meeting exploring current topics in health care information
* Collaboration with other local-, state-, and national-level library association meetings and events

HSLM also gives a voice to its members through its support of legislation and standards of practice.
